Mon Rayon de Soleil

I recently had a conversation with some friends from the kiddo community, and at one point we were looking up French terms of endearment for children, to fit a certain theme. One of the terms was "mon petit rayon de soleil" which means "my little ray of sunshine." It had struck me as such a beautiful way to refer to one's child.

I personally love the sun, I love rays of light, brightness, color- the way the sun makes the air itself seem to glow. It warms whatever it touches, and for me, it gives me a hazy, lazy Sunday afternoon feeling. Like napping in a sun-filled room. I wanted to bring this theme into the photo, and I feel I accomplished that.

Here's to a beautiful sun-filled Sunday, whether it's sunshine from your window, or sunshine from someone's smile.
